Community Housing Limited is seeking an Accounts Officer to join its Accounts team and contribute to the effective operation of essential accounting services. This permanent, full-time position is based at the Blackburn office and reports to the Accounts Payable Team Leader. The role will support the accurate and efficient processing of invoices, payments, reconciliations, and stakeholder queries, ensuring alignment with compliance, audit, and accounting standards.

What the Role Entails:
As an Accounts Officer, you will undertake accounts payable activities and provide support to the broader Accounts team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing invoices, rent refunds, and bond payments accurately and within required timeframes.
- Managing data entry, imports, and reconciliations to maintain clean and reliable finance records.
- Liaising with staff, suppliers, and stakeholders to resolve queries and facilitate payment processes.
- Supporting audit, compliance, and governance requirements through precise documentation.
What You Will Bring:
- A minimum of two years' experience in accounts or accounts payable, with a preference for experience in high-volume invoicing.
- Strong attention to detail and confidence in working with data, reconciliations, and finance systems.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and Outlook.
- Clear, professional communication skills and a helpful approach when interacting with staff, suppliers, and stakeholders.

Pre-Employment Checks: Appointments are contingent upon satisfactory pre-employment checks, including a Police Check and any other checks deemed necessary for the role. These checks will be conducted during the onboarding process.
