Queensland Timber Flooring is a family-owned business situated in Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast. Operating within the construction and flooring sector, our team is recognised for delivering quality workmanship and fostering a supportive environment.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper / Accounts Officer for a varied, hands-on position managing our daily accounts.

Key Duties:

• Bank, credit card, and petty cash reconciliations.
• End-to-end management of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Managing supplier, customer, and subcontractor accounts.
• Processing invoices, payments, and customer deposits.
• Raising invoices and following up on outstanding payments.
• Weekly and end-of-month payment processing and reporting.
• Managing subcontractor payments, RCTIs, and associated compliance documentation.
• Maintaining accurate records and conducting compliance checks (e.g., ABN, QBCC).
• Handling the accounts inbox and general administration tasks.
• Supporting stock and operational data entry.
• Providing ad hoc support across the business as required.

About You:

• Demonstrated experience as a Senior Bookkeeper or Accounts Officer.
• Strong proficiency in MYOB is essential.
• Experience with Ostendo is highly regarded.
• A background in construction, building, or a related industry is preferred.
• A solid understanding of full-function bookkeeping processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational capabilities.
• The ability to work autonomously and take ownership of responsibilities.
• A positive, team-oriented disposition.
