Superstock Food Services, a WA family-owned business and a complete food distributor, is seeking a part-time Accounts Officer to join its expanding team. With over 6,000 stocked lines spanning frozen, chiller, dry goods, and packaging, and as a member of the Countrywide National Distributors buying group, Superstock Food Services serves a diverse range of food outlets across Western Australia, including hospitals, prisons, hotels, cafes, restaurants, taverns, pubs, caterers, lunch bars, and bakeries. The company prides itself on delivering exceptional customer service.

This role involves ordinary hours from Monday to Friday, 9am to 2pm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurate processing of invoices for payment.
• Reconciliation of supplier statements.
• Processing of customer payments.
• Administering payments in line with company policy and agreed terms.
• Issuing remittance advices.
• Performing daily banking duties.
• Maintaining a detailed filing system for invoices.
• Following up on outstanding accounts.
• Completion of credit applications.
• Assisting with month-end reporting and year-end audits.
• Providing information to management as requested.
• Providing backup to other members of the accounts team.
• Assisting with other duties as requested.

About You:

• Previous experience in accounts is preferable.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Pleasant telephone manner and customer service skills.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Helpful attitude and ability to ask questions.
• Bright and energetic personality.
