Accounts Payable Finance Officer

CS Energy is seeking a detail-driven Accounts Payable Finance Officer to join our high-performing finance team. This role is crucial for ensuring the accurate and efficient processing and payment of invoices, contributing to the integrity and efficiency of our financial operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Process high-volume invoices with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring appropriate approvals and documentation are in place.
- Perform three-way matching and resolve discrepancies between purchase orders, invoices, and receipts.
- Manage vendor accounts, including reconciliations, investigations, and timely query resolution.
- Schedule and execute payment runs in accordance with vendor terms and organisational requirements.
- Review aged payables, GR/IR accounts, and outstanding items, undertaking proactive follow-up and resolution.
- Support the processing of foreign currency invoices and payment scheduling.
- Prepare reports, including KPI metrics and payment run cashflow estimates for Treasury.
- Post journals and maintain accurate financial records within SAP or ERP systems.
- Maintain vendor master data and provide support for procurement activities as required.
- Provide guidance and respond to supplier and stakeholder queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, compliance, and accuracy.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support smooth financial operations.
- Support team initiatives, training, and continuous improvement within the accounts payable function.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will possess the following skills and experience:
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an accounts payable role, finance officer role, or similar.
- Experience with BOT (AI-driven automation of invoice processing) is preferred.
- Experience processing high-volume invoices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong multitasking capabilities.
- Experience using SAP or other major ERP systems is preferred.
- Intermediate to advanced computer literacy, including strong Microsoft Office skills.
- A high level of attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all organisational levels.
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Intermediate to strong financial acumen.
