Berritta Consulting is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their established and growing professional services business in Perth. This is a newly created full-time, onsite position in Subiaco, offering a salary of $80,000 – $100,000 per year.

This role has arisen due to continued business growth and the expansion of the internal finance team. You will be part of a collaborative organisation of approximately 40+ staff, working closely with the Accounts Receivable team, Payroll, and senior leadership to ensure the efficient operation of the accounts payable function.

The Role

As the Accounts Payable Officer, your responsibilities will encompass managing the complete accounts payable process and fostering strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

• End-to-end Accounts Payable processing
• Processing invoices and preparing payment runs
• Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
• Following up outstanding invoices via phone and email
• Assisting with payment plan arrangements where required
• Liaising with the Accounts Receivable team, Payroll, and Partners
• Maintaining accurate financial records using Xero
• Supporting the wider finance team with administrative and reporting tasks

About You

We are seeking an individual who takes ownership of their work and excels at building positive relationships with suppliers and colleagues.

Ideal candidates will possess:

• 3 - 10 years' experience in an Accounts Payable position
• Previous experience using Xero
• A background in accounting or finance (experience from other industries will also be considered)
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• The ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
• A proactive, team-focused attitude
