The team values structure, teamwork, and staying abreast of advancements through intelligent systems and refined processes. Individuals who appreciate autonomy, prioritise accuracy, and derive satisfaction from a well-maintained ledger will find this environment suitable.

This full-time Accounts Payable Officer position reports to the Finance Manager, with oversight from the Financial Controller, and is integral to the company's financial operations. The role involves managing end-to-end AP functions within a developing and technologically advanced setting. The recent implementation of Continia Document Capture integrated with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central means the position will utilise a fully automated OCR system to streamline invoice processing and approvals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing AP invoices and verifying them against approved purchase orders.
  • Managing the accounts payable email inbox and responding to internal and external inquiries.
  • Reviewing supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Processing staff reimbursements and credit card transactions.
  • Assisting with scheduled payment runs and verifying supplier banking information.
  • Ensuring adherence to internal finance procedures and relevant legislative requirements.
  • Collaborating with various departments to support accurate financial reporting.

About You:

The ideal candidate is an experienced AP professional who is comfortable working both independently and as part of a close-knit team. You enjoy fostering supplier relationships and have a strong background in Accounts Payable. You place a high value on accuracy and efficiency, and you are consistently seeking opportunities for process improvement.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable or similar finance role.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or a comparable ERP system.
  • A solid understanding of bookkeeping, credit, and accounting principles.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to resolve discrepancies effectively.
  • A customer service orientation and strong communication skills.
  • A tech-savvy approach and a willingness to adopt new systems.
  • A professional and discreet demeanour when handling confidential financial information.

Qualifications in Accounting or a related field are desirable but not essential.

What's in it for you?

Condor Energy Services Limited is committed to fostering an environment where individuals feel supported, empowered, and connected to meaningful work. The company offers:

  • A collaborative and inclusive team culture where contributions are recognised.
  • Flexible work arrangements designed to promote a healthy work-life balance.
  • Access to modern systems and automated tools to enhance job efficiency.
  • Opportunities for ongoing professional development and improvement, with an emphasis on smarter ways of working.
  • Approachable leadership dedicated to supporting your success and wellbeing.

You will join a company that prioritises not only achieving results but also cultivating a positive experience for its employees.
