We are seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to join our team in Pakenham. This role is ideally suited for a candidate adept at managing high-volume accounts payable across diverse industries within a fast-paced setting, with a strong emphasis on customer service.

Responsibilities: Reporting to the Finance Manager, your primary duties will include:

• Managing high-volume supplier invoices across multiple companies and platforms.
• Performing and processing three-way matching (paper-based).
• Managing and monitoring multiple shared mailboxes.
• Ensuring quality control of creditor invoices, including correct coding and authorisations.
• Processing daily, weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payments.
• Promptly managing and resolving queries.
• Performing bank reconciliations.
• Completing complex monthly supplier statement reconciliations and following up on outstanding invoices and queries.
• Handling vendor setup and maintenance.
• Generating daily reports.
• Undertaking ad hoc duties as required.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years in a high-volume, complex end-to-end Accounts Payable position.
• Experience within a medium to large company.
• MYOB AccountRight / Pronto and Xero experience is preferred.
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure, and operate autonomously or as part of a team.
• A team player with strong relationship-building skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
