Location: Kemps Creek, NSW Work Type: Full-time Salary: $70,000 - $75,000 per annum + superannuation Work Arrangement: On-site
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable & Payroll Officer to join a long-standing and growing organisation in the infrastructure sector. Reporting directly to the Office Manager, you will be instrumental in managing end-to-end payroll, accounts payable, and a range of finance administration tasks. Working within a close-knit team of three, this position provides significant variety and the chance to take ownership of core finance processes.
Responsibilities:
- Process end-to-end weekly payroll for employees using MYOB, including timesheet approvals and superannuation payments.
- Manage the full accounts payable function, encompassing creditor payments, remittances, and employee expense reimbursements.
- Perform bank reconciliations and process company credit card transactions.
- Maintain fuel card, eTag, vehicle registration, and CTP accounts.
- Support the wider finance function by reviewing debtor invoices and liaising with management to ensure accurate payroll and financial records.
Candidate Profile:
- Previous experience in Accounts Payable and Payroll is essential.
- Experience processing payroll using MYOB is highly regarded.
- Possess excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
- Confident communicator with the ability to liaise across multiple departments.
