A prominent Australian trade and construction business, known for its high-quality, durable products and excellent service, is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable candidate for a full-time contract role. The Role

You will manage the daily operations of the Accounts Payable function, processing a high volume of invoices. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing the day-to-day functions of Accounts Payable.
• Monitoring accounts to ensure payments are current.
• Researching and resolving discrepancies and issues.
• Setting up invoices for payment.
• Handling accounts payable queries promptly and professionally.
• Ensuring all period-end processes are completed within the correct accounting period and accurately.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need demonstrated experience in:

• Strong previous accounts payable experience.
• Effective interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Being self-motivated, with a keen willingness to learn and a passion for service excellence.
• Fantastic attention to detail.
• A high degree of accuracy and analytical ability.
• Excellent time management skills, including the ability to plan, set priorities, and meet deadlines, with flexibility to adapt to changing demands.
