Accounts Receivable Officer
APM Group (Australia) is seeking an Accounts Receivable Officer for a full-time, onsite, 6-month contract role in West Perth. You will be part of a high-performing team, responsible for allocating daily payments and closing invoices within various Finance Systems for a mixed ledger of high-volume customer accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receipting payments and allocating a high volume of transactions.
- Fostering positive relationships with internal departments and clients.
- Overseeing debtor management and liaising with internal departments to delegate debt collection duties and maintain the debtor ledger.
- Database and document management.
- Reconciliation of customer accounts.
- Assisting with mid-month and end-of-month reporting.
- Processing and data entry of financial information.
- Undertaking ad hoc administrative tasks.
The Challenge:
- Working with multiple payment and funding types, requiring an understanding of the billing and funding complexities associated with our customer base.
- Finding and accurately allocating a high volume of small and similar payment amounts.
- Operating within a fast-paced, growth environment subject to consistent change in systems and processes.
About You:
You will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, coupled with a can-do attitude. You will be capable of effectively managing your time and demonstrate strong attention to detail.
Requirements:
- Experienced Accounts Receivable Officer – at least 2 years.
- High levels of data entry accuracy.
- Experience in debt collection.
- Ability to communicate confidently at all levels.
- Ability to multitask with excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Highly motivated with attention to detail.
- Process-driven.
- Resilient and confident.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUP & pivot tables are essential).
- Strong PC and software skills – experience across multiple platforms.
- Adaptable to change.
Desirable:
- Experience with SAP.
- Experience using multiple software packages.
