Acoustic Consultant

Company: Acoustic Works Pty Ltd Location: Robina, Gold Coast Work Type: Full-time, Onsite

Acoustic Works Pty Ltd is seeking an Acoustic Consultant to join our team in Robina. We provide expert consulting services to a range of clients, including town planners, developers, builders, architects, and project managers. Our work focuses on addressing noise emissions from developments and internal noise within buildings, with the aim of enhancing environmental outcomes, mitigating noise impacts, and improving acoustic amenity.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A tertiary qualification in engineering or science, or a Masters in Design Science, is preferred. Other relevant experience will be considered.
  • Demonstrated practical problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in report writing, with strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • Experience with site work, road traffic, and environmental noise assessments.
  • Exposure to building acoustics, or a willingness to learn.
  • Exposure to SoundPLAN, or a willingness to learn.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • A current Australian driver's license.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior staff for direction and instruction to enhance knowledge.
  • Undertake occasional work outside normal hours as required for project needs, compensated on a time-in-lieu basis.
