Airbus Australia Pacific Limited is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Avionics) to join their team in Edinburgh. This is a permanent, full-time position operating on a 9-day fortnight. Applications close on 01 August 2026.
Opportunity Overview
This role offers the chance to work on advanced maritime and special-mission aircraft. The successful candidate will join the Base Maintenance team in Edinburgh, focusing on hands-on technical challenges and ensuring cutting-edge avionics operate at peak performance. This position directly supports RAAF 11SQN and 12SQN Maintenance, involving on-aircraft and off-aircraft maintenance, systems troubleshooting, rapid rectification, and complex modifications to maintain fleet operational readiness.

Your Qualifications
- Cert IV in Aeroskills (Avionics) or an equivalent qualification from a Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
- Demonstrated aviation airworthiness knowledge with experience in a strictly regulated environment.
- Familiarity with aircraft maintenance documentation, IETPs, and contemporary maintenance practices.
- Ability to obtain a B-level Military Aircraft Maintenance Licence.
- Confident written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid computer literacy, including MS Office.

Eligibility Requirements

Salary and Hours
Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (EBA) rates have recently been boosted, offering a competitive remuneration package. This is a full-time position with a 9-day fortnight.
