HC FORKLIFT AUSTRALIA PTY LTD is seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their team in Dandenong South. This full-time, onsite position offers a salary of $60,000 – $70,000 per year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts receivable and conduct credit control, including following up on overdue accounts.
• Prepare and dispatch customer invoices.
• Verify supplier invoices against authorised Purchase Orders (POs).
• Process supplier invoices and contribute to payment runs.
• Execute daily bank and account reconciliations.
• Maintain precise financial records and accounting documentation within Xero.
• Assist with month-end reporting and general accounting duties.
• Communicate with customers, suppliers, and internal departments on financial matters.
• Provide support to the Finance Manager with other finance and administrative tasks as may be required.

Skills & Experience:

• A qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Prior experience in an accounting, bookkeeping, or finance support capacity.
• Xero experience is essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin Chinese.
• A strong focus on detail and excellent organisational abilities.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• The capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
