The Role As our Assistant Accountant, you will be integral to supporting the entire accounting team. Your responsibilities will encompass accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, financial reporting, and administrative duties.

What You’ll be doing Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Independently manage the company's Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, ensuring data accuracy and timely processing of transactions.
• Prepare and maintain financial documentation, including invoice issuance and filing.
• Be responsible for banking operations, including vouchers preparation, bank reconciliations, transaction postings, and payments processing.
• Assist with fixed asset register management and cost allocations.
• Prepare weekly balance reports, monthly project cost summary, monthly cash flow reports, monthly residential rental report and monthly administrative report.
• Manage BAS lodgments, payroll tax and supporting financial audits.
• Assist with the month-end procedure.
• Maintain accurate records of zero-coupon bond and intercompany loans.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of accounting policies and procedures by identifying improvements, and making recommendations.
• Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all financial tasks.
• Undertake ad-hoc accounting and administration duties as required.

What will help you succeed

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent qualification.
• Preferably experience in the real estate and property development sector.
• Experience in MYOB.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Fluent in both English and Chinese.
• A strong work ethic with proven analytical skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a strong attention to detail.
