Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee inventory accounting, encompassing valuation, reconciliations, provisions, and variance analysis.
- Manage fixed assets and lease accounting, ensuring accurate recording and depreciation.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Support month-end close processes and prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
- Review financial results and identify key insights.
- Deliver clear management reports and explain variances.
- Contribute to audits, tax compliance, and statutory reporting.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members.
- Address ad hoc financial reporting and analysis requests from stakeholders and Head Office.
About You:
- CA or CPA qualified.
- Possess 4-7 years of experience in financial accounting and/or audit.
- Big 4 or mid-tier audit experience is preferred.
- A strong understanding of inventory accounting and general ledger processes is essential.
- Experience with month-end close, reporting, audit, and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated analytical and reconciliation skills with a high attention to detail.
- Experience in a group reporting environment is advantageous.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are required.
