This role involves providing support to a young adult with a disability in Ballarat, Victoria, to live a fulfilling daily life. The position is casual, with approximately 8-15 hours of work per week, most weeks. Flexibility for students taking time off for placements can be accommodated.

Job Responsibilities:

• Providing cognitive, emotional, and physical support to address daily challenges.
• Assisting with completing allied health therapy homework, including Physiotherapy, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Psychology.
• Supporting home improvement ventures.
• Assisting with meal preparation, personal administration, and household chores.
• Facilitating exercise activities such as swimming or bike riding.
• Engaging relationally within the community and with the young adult's family.

No personal care duties are required, and prior experience in a disability support role is not a prerequisite.

Ideal Candidates: This role would appeal to individuals with training in fields such as Education, Occupational Therapy, Nursing, or Social Work. Professionals, students, or retirees with reasonably flexible availability for part-time work are encouraged to apply.
