Hamilton York is seeking a Qualified / Nearly Qualified Audit Senior Consultant to join their team in Sydney NSW. This full-time, onsite role offers a salary of $100,000 – $120,000 per year.

About the Firm Join a leading accountancy practice and an expanding audit team that prioritises learning and development. This firm offers a clear progression path to management and one-to-one mentoring with a Director.

Role Responsibilities As an Audit Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for:

• Leading audits for owner-managed businesses, large corporate clients across various industries and turnovers.
• Conducting audits for not-for-profit organisations, charities, academies, and other clients.
• Gaining significant involvement in accounts, wider services, and advisory/project work.
• Developing your career within a highly regarded firm with a clear route to progression into management and beyond.

Candidate Profile We are looking for career-focused and client-facing individuals with the potential to develop within the firm.

Requirements

• Qualified CA / CPA or nearing completion.
• Background as a Qualified Audit Senior or similar professional level.
• Experience specialising in audit within a top-tier, mid-tier, or Top 50 firm, OR a mixed general accountancy practice background with experience in both audit and accounts within small, medium, or large independent firms.
• A desire to join a leading firm of chartered accountants and build upon your existing practice career, with a role offering genuine progression potential.
