The firm's significant client base has largely grown through referrals, reflecting its strong market reputation. You will encounter a varied range of clients across sectors such as aged care, licensed clubs, education, software as a service (SaaS), sporting associations, natural resources, and not-for-profit organisations, where the firm possesses established expertise.
They are seeking an Audit Senior/Supervisor keen to take responsibility for a growing client portfolio, guide junior team members, and contribute significantly to a collaborative team. This presents a prime opportunity for an individual ready for the next phase of their career, offering the autonomy to manage engagements while continuing to develop under the guidance of experienced Partners.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a client portfolio valued at approximately $400k–$450k in fees.
- Lead audit engagements from initial planning through to finalisation.
- Mentor, train, and support junior team members.
- Review audit work, providing technical guidance and constructive feedback.
- Cultivate strong client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor throughout the audit process.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 – 4 years' audit experience within a reputable public practice firm.
- Hold a CA/CPA qualification, or be nearing completion.
- Be experienced with CaseWare (highly regarded but not essential).
- Experience mentoring and training junior team members.
- Possess excellent communication, organisational, and client relationship management skills.
