Robert Half is seeking a Billing Officer for a temporary, 8-month contract opportunity. This role is based in Moorabbin and offers a hybrid work arrangement. The hourly rate for this position is $40 - $45 p.h.

The Position This temporary assignment is to cover maternity leave and includes a comprehensive handover. The role commences on August 10th. Reporting to the Billing & Revenue Officer, your responsibilities will include:

• Processing accurate and timely billing across NDIS and other funding streams.
• Managing invoicing, receipting, and daily billing transactions.
• Monitoring outstanding accounts, supporting debt collection, and working to minimise overdue accounts.
• Responding to billing inquiries and resolving invoice discrepancies.
• Preparing client statements, credit notes, processing refunds, and maintaining precise records.
• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure billing information is complete and accurate.
• Exporting and importing information between systems, ensuring accuracy.

Candidate Profile You will be a self-motivated Billing or Revenue Officer with experience in large-scale, fast-paced environments. You are a natural problem-solver with a keen eye for detail, possess intermediate MS Excel skills, and have strong stakeholder engagement abilities.

Experience within community health or family services and exposure to NDIS funding is preferred.

You must also possess or be willing to obtain:

• A current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• A current Working with Children Check.
• A current national Police Check (this must be maintained).
