Mars Recruitment seeks an experienced Bookkeeper for a full-time, hybrid role based in Subiaco. The remuneration is between $80,000 and $90,000 per annum, plus superannuation.

Our client, a well-established professional services firm, is looking for an individual to join their collaborative bookkeeping team. This position offers the chance to work with a diverse client portfolio, providing variety, flexibility, and continuous professional growth. You will be responsible for managing your own client portfolio, collaborating with accountants and advisors to deliver excellent bookkeeping services. The ideal candidate will enjoy developing client relationships, engaging with various industries, and taking accountability for their tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-end bookkeeping for a client portfolio.
• Managing payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Preparing and lodging BAS, IAS, and other ATO obligations.
• Generating monthly management reports.
• Establishing and maintaining client accounting files.
• Assisting clients with Xero, MYOB, and other cloud-based accounting systems.
• Serving as the main bookkeeping contact for clients and liaising with the wider accounting team.

About You:

To excel in this role, you will possess:

• Previous bookkeeping experience in an accounting practice or bookkeeping firm.
• Experience managing multiple client entities.
• Strong reconciliation skills up to Trial Balance.
• Proficiency with Xero, MYOB, and other cloud-based accounting software.
• A Cert IV in Bookkeeping or Accounting is preferred.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A professional, client-focused demeanour and the capacity to manage competing priorities.
