AusDream Disability Care Pty Ltd is a developing NDIS provider dedicated to delivering high-quality, person-centred disability support services. Our objective is to empower individuals with disabilities to attain increased independence, community involvement, and an improved quality of life. As our presence expands across South Australia, we are seeking a highly motivated and well-connected Business Development Officer to enhance our referral network and cultivate enduring partnerships within the disability, health, and community services sectors.

This position is focused on relationship building and is responsible for generating participant referrals and contributing to the organisation's expansion through strategic stakeholder engagement. Reporting directly to the Director, you will identify new business prospects, establish referral partnerships, and represent AusDream Disability Care throughout the South Australian disability sector. This role is suited for an individual who possesses existing professional relationships within the NDIS and community services sector and thrives on developing long-term partnerships that yield positive outcomes for participants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with Support Coordinators, Plan Managers, Local Area Coordinators, hospitals, allied health professionals, GPs, housing providers, and community organisations.
  • Identify and develop new referral pathways across South Australia.
  • Promote AusDream Disability Care's services to key stakeholders.
  • Conduct stakeholder meetings, presentations, and networking visits.
  • Attend industry networking events and community forums.
  • Develop strategic partnerships that generate sustainable participant referrals.
  • Maintain accurate stakeholder records using the company's CRM system.
  • Work closely with the operations team to support participant onboarding.
  • Prepare fortnightly activity reports and provide regular updates to the Director.
  • Identify market opportunities and provide recommendations to support business growth.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

Essential:

  • Experience in business development, stakeholder engagement, relationship management, or community partnerships.
  • Strong knowledge of Australia's NDIS and disability services sector.
  • An established professional network within South Australia's disability, health, or community services sector.
  • Existing relationships with one or more of the following: Support Coordinators, Plan Managers, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, Speech Pathologists, Hospitals, Mental Health Services, Community Organisations, Housing Providers.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and achieve agreed business development targets.
  • Current Australian Driver’s Licence.
  • Access to a reliable motor vehicle.
  • Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • Full working rights in Australia.

Highly Desirable:

  • Previous business development experience within an NDIS provider or community services organisation.
  • Demonstrated success in generating participant referrals or developing strategic partnerships.
  • Experience using CRM systems.
  • Understanding of participant onboarding processes and referral pathways.

Performance & Commission:

This role offers an attractive uncapped commission structure in addition to your hourly rate. Commission is payable for participants personally referred by you who:

  • Sign a Service Agreement with AusDream Disability Care Pty Ltd.
  • Commence services.
  • Receive at least 20 support hours per week.
  • Remain actively receiving services for a minimum of four consecutive weeks.

Higher referral volumes attract higher commission rates, providing excellent earning potential for high-performing employees.
