Additionally, we maintain a presence in the hospitality and retail sectors, featuring a retail trade counter in Brendale and a popular burger restaurant situated in Dayboro. About the Role This paid position is designed for an intern or graduate with natural leadership potential. The successful candidate will join our Executive Management Team, contributing to the strategic and operational advancement of our varied business entities. This role offers a supported environment for learning, leadership development, and impactful contribution. You will gain extensive supported experience in finance/administration, operations, human resources, project management, marketing, strategy, and leadership. Your responsibilities will include driving operational excellence across industries such as manufacturing, retail, hospitality, and agriculture. The internship/graduate position has a duration of one year, with the possibility of a permanent offer upon completion. The role can be undertaken on a full-time or part-time basis, requiring a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week. If part-time, the salary will be pro-rata.
Reporting directly to the executive team, the role will involve:
- Leading and Innovating: Developing and implementing strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness across all operational domains.
- Overseeing Critical Functions: Managing finance, purchasing, HR, and daily operations to ensure smooth integration and optimal performance.
- Collaborating Across Teams: Working with frontline staff and leadership to maintain alignment with company objectives, values, and project goals.
- Driving Continuous Improvement: Establishing and refining processes and procedures, cultivating a culture of accountability and progress.
