Business Services Manager / Assistant Manager
Hart Recruitment is seeking an experienced professional for a Business Services Manager / Assistant Manager role based in Perth WA. This is a full-time, onsite position with a remuneration package of $130,000 – $160,000.
Our client is a prominent mid-tier accounting and advisory firm with a significant presence in Perth and a national network. They cater to middle-market clients across various sectors, including property and construction, healthcare, manufacturing, hospitality, natural resources, and professional services. The firm is experiencing ongoing expansion and is looking to integrate a skilled Assistant Manager / Manager into their collaborative Perth-based team.

Responsibilities:
- Manage a client portfolio encompassing private companies, SMEs, family groups, and high-net-worth individuals.
- Review tax returns, financial statements, BAS, IAS, and FBT returns prepared by junior team members.
- Deliver expert advisory services, including tax planning, structuring/restructuring, Div 7A, CGT, and FBT.
- Cultivate and sustain robust client relationships as a primary point of contact.
- Conduct internal training sessions on emerging tax issues.
- Contribute to the mentoring of junior staff and the enhancement of internal processes.
About You:
- A minimum of 6-10 years of experience within an Australian public practice firm.
- CA/CPA qualified, or nearing completion.
- Possess strong technical skills in both compliance and advisory matters.
- Demonstrated experience in reviewing work and managing junior staff.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
