Blackbook Executive is seeking a Capital Projects Manager for a leading FMCG organisation located in Sydney, NSW. This full-time, onsite position offers a salary of AUD 160,000 - 180,000 per annum.

This role presents an opportunity to direct all engineering activities aimed at improving plant operation and performance, while also managing a substantial, multi-million dollar capital pipeline.

The Role Reporting to the Factory Manager, responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the strategic alignment of all engineering functions with the broader business strategy.
• Establishing a framework for managing the site's capital pipeline to align with the business's investment strategy.
• Meeting Asset Intensity requirements.
• Demonstrating strong leadership and management capabilities to foster Continuous Excellence implementation and manage key internal and external stakeholders.

Your Background To be successful in this position, you will possess:

• A tertiary qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Over 8 years of experience executing capital projects within a manufacturing facility, preferably in a brownfield production setting.
• A proven track record of delivering results within a large manufacturing site or multiple smaller sites.
• Experience from a food, beverage, dairy, pharmaceutical, or similar regulated environment.
• A blend of hands-on and strategic experience.
• Strong internal and external stakeholder management skills.
• Experience within a unionised environment will be highly advantageous.
