Location: Port Lincoln Work Type: Casual On-site/Remote: On-site Salary: $32.90 - $33.72 per hour plus 25% casual loading. Additional benefits include 12% Superannuation and Salary Sacrifice options. Employment Period: Casual positions available until 30 June 2027.
An exciting casual opportunity exists for a Community Support Worker with the Eyre and Far North Local Health Network, Country Health Connect, in Port Lincoln and Lower Eyre.
About the Role At Eyre and Far North Local Health Network, our Consumer Directed Care model aims to empower individuals to manage their own care. As a Community Support Worker, you will provide personalised support to individuals who are aged, frail, or living with a disability. Your role will involve assisting them to maintain their independence within their homes or Residential Aged Care facilities.
Key tasks involve delivering essential services such as personal care, meal preparation, cleaning, transport, and social support. You will collaborate with consumers, their families, and health professionals to facilitate consumer-led care decisions, ensuring compassionate and quality outcomes. Success in this role requires flexibility, empathy, and the capacity to work autonomously.

Potential Tasks
About Us The Eyre and Far North Local Health Network (EFNLHN) spans 337,626 square kilometres, encompassing the Eyre Peninsula and the western part of South Australia, extending north to Coober Pedy. As one of Australia's largest Local Health Networks by area, it serves communities including Ceduna, Cleve, Coober Pedy, Cowell, Cummins, Elliston, Kimba, Oodnadatta, Port Lincoln, Streaky Bay, Tumby Bay, and Wudinna.
The EFNLHN provides a broad range of services, including acute care, medical, accident and emergency, surgery, birthing and midwifery, specialist consultancy, renal dialysis, chemotherapy, transfusions, rehabilitation, residential and community aged care, respite care, transitional care packages, Aboriginal health, mental health, allied health, community health, community nursing, palliative care, community home support packages, and home modifications.
