Role Summary Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Financial Officer is an integral part of the executive leadership team. This role is responsible for providing strategic financial leadership, commercial guidance, and governance oversight across the organisation. It is a comprehensive leadership position that includes finance, business performance, systems transformation, and stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will lead a significant finance function and play a key role in organisational planning, decision-making, and continuous improvement initiatives. Working closely with the CEO, Board, and executive team, you will contribute to shaping organisational strategy, enhancing financial capability, and ensuring the business is well-positioned to achieve its long-term objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the organisation's finance function, ensuring robust financial management, governance, and compliance.
• Provide strategic advice and commercial insights to the CEO, Board, and executive leadership team.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and long-term planning activities.
• Drive continuous improvement across financial systems, processes, and reporting frameworks.
• Lead organisational initiatives related to business transformation and operational effectiveness.
• Build and develop high-performing teams across finance and related corporate services functions.
• Maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders and industry participants.
• Support strategic decision-making through insightful analysis and performance reporting.

Skills and Experience

• CA or CPA qualification with extensive senior finance leadership experience.
• Demonstrated success operating within complex, stakeholder-driven environments.
• Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking capability.
• Experience leading large teams and developing organisational capability.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with Boards, executives, and external stakeholders.
• Experience leading systems, process improvement, or transformation initiatives.
• Strong governance, risk management, and financial control expertise.
• Collaborative, pragmatic, and relationship-focused leadership style.
