Sourcey is seeking an experienced Civil Design Engineer to join its expanding team in Melbourne, VIC. This full-time, onsite position offers a salary of AUD 90,000 - 120,000 per annum.

This opportunity is with a well-regarded, Australian, employee-owned engineering consultancy. You will contribute to a varied range of mid to high-rise building projects, encompassing commercial developments, institutional facilities, mixed-use residential/office spaces, and substantial industrial undertakings. Your role will be central to project execution from conception to final delivery within a collaborative and high-achieving setting.

The Role

As a Civil Design Engineer, you will be responsible for project delivery, collaborating with internal teams and external parties to achieve superior results throughout all design phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to the civil design and delivery for building projects.
• Manage projects from initial concept to completion.
• Develop detailed designs utilising Civil 3D.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other professional disciplines.
• Engage with clients, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to a high standard.

About You

• Possess 4–8 years of experience in a civil design capacity within a consultancy.
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in Civil 3D.
• Have proven experience delivering building-related projects (commercial, mixed-use, institutional, or industrial).
• Exhibit the ability to manage projects and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Hold a strong understanding of Australian standards and local design practices.
• Must be an Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen.
