About the Position In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a range of urban development, subdivision, and land development projects. You will utilise your skills in drainage, stormwater management, and urban design to provide practical, sustainable solutions. Experience with software such as 12D, DRAINS, HEC-RAS, TUFLOW, MUSIC, and Civil3D will be crucial to the success of the projects you work on.
Duties
- Design and manage subdivision and land development projects, focusing on stormwater, drainage, OSD, water quality, and water-sensitive urban design.
- Attend site inspections, project meetings, and design reviews to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Utilise software such as DRAINS, HEC-RAS, TUFLOW, MUSIC, and Civil3D for project design and delivery.
- Mentor and guide Junior Engineers, assisting in their professional development.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Skills & Experience
- Tertiary Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Experience in subdivision and land development, ideally within the Sydney region.
- CPEng accreditation or in the process of obtaining is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, TUFLOW, DRAINS, MUSIC, and AutoCAD.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for liaising with clients and stakeholders.
