Systra ANZ Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and motivated Civil Engineer to join their growing team on the Sunshine Coast QLD. This is a full-time, hybrid role offering Market Salary.

In this position, you will play a crucial role in delivering key transport and infrastructure projects, managing civil components from initial concept through to completion. You will collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team to achieve high-quality design solutions, benefiting from a flexible hybrid work model that promotes work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver concept and detailed designs for geometric road alignments, intersections, and civil infrastructure from start to finish.
• Utilise industry-standard software, including 12D and CAD, to review engineering models and documentation.
• Apply Austroads and TMR standards to ensure full project compliance.
• Conduct quantity take-offs, prepare engineering reports, and assist with technical specifications.
• Collaborate with drafters, project managers, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
• (Optional/Bonus) Contribute to minor stormwater and drainage design elements where required.

What We Are Looking For:

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• 5 to 8 years of post-graduate experience specifically within Australian civil infrastructure, with a strong focus on roads and highways.
• Proven experience working with TMR and Austroads guidelines is essential.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with 12D is highly regarded, alongside familiarity with TMR-specific design software.
• Currently holding RPEQ status, or working towards it.
• CPEng or actively tracking toward achieving chartership.
