We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Draftsperson to support the preparation of engineering drawings, project documentation, and technical assistance for our construction and refurbishment initiatives. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing for remote work from a home office alongside necessary on-site engagement at project locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist civil and structural engineers in preparing drawings and technical documentation for construction and refurbishment works.
- Produce detailed plans, sketches, layouts, and engineering drawings utilizing drafting software and relevant tools.
- Prepare drawings and documentation pertaining to drainage, stormwater systems, water supply, sewer connections, and associated civil works.
- Support the preparation of project specifications, material schedules, and construction documentation.
- Undertake site inspections, gather measurements, and prepare survey information and reports to aid project planning.
- Review and check drawings, plans, and construction materials or requirements to ensure accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
- Facilitate project coordination through liaison with engineers, contractors, trades, and project managers.
- Assist with the planning and scheduling of drafting tasks and provide progress updates on project documentation.
- Inspect completed works as needed and assist in identifying maintenance or repair requirements.
- Support the documentation and coordination of plumbing, water supply, and related service systems.
- Maintain precise records of drawings, revisions, and technical documents throughout project phases.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Civil Engineering Draftsperson or in a comparable role.
- Experience in preparing civil engineering drawings and construction documentation.
- Proficiency with drafting software and technical drawing tools.
- Understanding of civil construction processes, site requirements, and engineering standards.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to collaborate with engineers and construction teams.

Salary: $85,000 – $87,000 per year.
