About the Project: Carmody's Hill Wind Farm DT Infrastructure has secured the full Balance of Plant scope for the Carmody's Hill Wind Farm project, located in the Mid North region of South Australia. This 256 MW utility-scale wind farm, developed by Aula Energy and Renewable Project Services, is slated to begin construction in early 2026, with operations anticipated from late 2028.
About the Position An experienced Project Engineer - Civil is sought for this significant project. Reporting to the Senior Project Engineer, the role operates within the Civils team and is responsible for providing engineering, technical, and quality support, along with other duties as assigned by the Project Manager and Operations Manager. This is a permanent, full-time position with DT Infrastructure, offering potential for growth and progression onto future projects. The role presents an opportunity for either DIDO from South Australia on a 5:2 roster or FIFO from Western Australia on a 2:1 roster.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and administer construction engineering activities to ensure project delivery aligns with time, budget, and quality requirements.
- Effectively manage and monitor construction performance and progress.
- Coordinate and supervise technical aspects of the project.
- Assist with the preparation of site construction budgets and reports.
- Verify subcontractors' claims and variations.
- Effectively manage work programs and the performance of teams and subcontractors to achieve project outcomes.
- Apply working knowledge of contractual and legislative requirements relevant to the project.
- Conduct effective and professional negotiations of work with clients.
- Interpret designs for construction implementation and contribute to improvements in existing designs.
To be successful:
- A Bachelor of Civil Engineering is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Project Engineer managing civil scopes within the relevant industry is required.
- Experience in researching and understanding complex information to develop and implement delivery solutions is required.
- Prior programming and planning experience is required.
