Due to ongoing expansion, Ringrose Button is seeking an experienced Client Manager/Senior Accountant. This role involves taking ownership of an established client portfolio, serving as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact. It is a senior, highly autonomous position suited to an individual who excels at cultivating strong client relationships, delivering strategic advice, and achieving high-quality accounting and taxation results. You will collaborate with a diverse range of business and primary production clients, overseeing their accounting, taxation, and advisory needs, while proactively identifying avenues to enhance value. The role offers location flexibility; while a full-time employee is preferred, permanent part-time arrangements may be considered for suitable candidates. A commitment to approximately one week in Longreach per quarter is required, with travel and accommodation expenses covered by Ringrose Button.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of business and primary production clients.
• Serve as the primary relationship manager and trusted advisor.
• Prepare and review complex financial statements and income tax returns.
• Provide proactive tax planning and strategic business advice.
• Manage multi-entity structures, including companies, trusts, and individuals.
• Offer advice on small business taxation and capital gains tax matters.
• Prepare and review Fringe Benefits Tax returns and associated reporting.
• Review work to a high technical standard for Partner approval.
• Conduct client meetings and maintain ongoing relationships.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies.
• Utilise technology, automation, and AI tools to enhance client outcomes.

About You:

• CPA or CA Qualified, or nearing completion.
• Minimum of 6 years' experience in public practice accounting.
• Strong technical capability in taxation and business advisory.
• Proven experience managing your own client portfolio.
• Demonstrated ability to build trusted client relationships.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to quality outcomes.
• Self-motivated and capable of working autonomously.
• Possess a positive, professional, and client-focused approach.

• Clients in primary production and agribusiness.
• Tax planning and business structuring.
• Small Business CGT concessions.
• Farm management deposits and primary production taxation.
• Carbon credits, renewable energy, or rural landholder arrangements.
