Due to ongoing expansion, Ringrose Button is seeking an experienced Client Manager/Senior Accountant. This role involves taking charge of an established client portfolio, acting as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact. It is a senior, highly autonomous position suitable for an individual who thrives on building client relationships, delivering strategic advice, and achieving quality accounting and taxation results. You will collaborate with a diverse range of business and primary production clients, managing their accounting, taxation, and advisory needs while actively identifying opportunities to add value.
The role offers flexibility in location and working arrangements. A requirement exists to spend approximately one week in Longreach each quarter, with travel and accommodation expenses covered by Ringrose Button.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of business and primary production clients.
- Serve as the primary relationship manager and trusted advisor.
- Prepare and review complex financial statements and income tax returns.
- Deliver proactive tax planning and strategic business advice.
- Manage multi-entity structures, including companies, trusts, and individuals.
- Provide advice on small business taxation and capital gains tax matters.
- Prepare and review Fringe Benefits Tax returns and associated reporting.
- Review work to a high technical standard for Partner sign-off.
- Conduct client meetings and maintain ongoing relationships.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies.
- Utilise technology, automation, and AI tools to enhance client outcomes.
About You:
- CPA or CA Qualified, or nearing completion.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in public practice accounting.
- Strong technical capability in taxation and business advisory.
- Experience managing your own client portfolio.
- Demonstrated ability to build trusted client relationships.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes.
- Self-motivated and able to work autonomously.
- Positive, professional, and client-focused approach.

- Farm management deposits and primary production taxation.
