Clinical Service Manager – Intensive Care At Home (Part-Time)

Intensive Care At Home is Australia’s first accredited intensive care at home nursing service. We operate with a proven, innovative, safe, and accredited framework to deliver intensive care nursing within the community, enabling us to support the highest acuity patients.

We are seeking a Clinical Service Manager to join our team in Brisbane. This role is ideal for a passionate Critical Care Nurse looking for a dynamic leadership position outside the traditional hospital setting. You will manage our current client and staff base in Brisbane and contribute to expanding our presence across Brisbane and Queensland. This opportunity allows you to combine your hands-on clinical expertise with strategic networking and business growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the existing staff and client base in Brisbane.
  • Grow and develop Intensive Care At Home’s client and staff base in Brisbane and Queensland.
  • Leverage networking skills to build strong relationships with clients, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders.
  • Utilise Intensive Care At Home’s existing network to drive business growth.
  • Understand or be willing to learn the critical link between adult & paediatric intensive care and community-based care.
  • Develop a deep understanding of clients, their families, and their unique needs to ensure exceptional service.
  • Engage with key stakeholders and expand partnerships.
  • Navigate and stay informed about NDIS, DVA, and NIISQ funding processes.
  • Lead and build high-performing teams that deliver exceptional care.
  • Demonstrate a proven sales track record and the ability to convert leads into clients.

What We Are Looking For:

  • A positive, “can-do” attitude with a determination to overcome challenges.
  • A strong leader who can inspire and engage teams and clients.
  • A self-starter who can work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in adult or paediatric critical care nursing, plus a postgraduate critical care qualification.
  • A passion for taking critical care nursing into the community.
  • Experience in community nursing is highly desirable.
  • Senior-level critical care experience is an advantage but not essential.
  • Ability to generate and convert leads into long-term clients.
  • A confident communicator who can represent Intensive Care at Home in Brisbane and Queensland.
  • Ideally, an established network in Critical Care, Intensive Care, or NDIS support coordination.
