C3Talent is seeking a Commercial Finance Director for a rapidly expanding global SaaS business. This is a senior leadership position central to commercial decision-making, collaborating closely with the Chief Financial Officer and the Executive Team.

The Commercial Finance Director will be instrumental in shaping strategy, enhancing financial understanding, and fostering growth through organic expansion and acquisitions.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Commercial Finance Director will:

• Collaborate with senior leaders on pricing, customer strategy, and growth initiatives.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting for the group.
• Provide clear, commercially insightful reporting to the Board and executives.
• Develop and maintain financial models for long-term planning and scenario analysis.
• Lead financial evaluation and support for acquisition activities.
• Work with the Financial Controller on monthly reporting and performance analysis.
• Develop capabilities within a small finance team and elevate analytical standards.
• Support the integration of contemporary finance tools and AI-driven analysis.

About You

You are a commercially focused finance leader who excels in dynamic, growth-oriented settings and enjoys both close business engagement and strategic oversight. You possess strong judgment, a curious mindset, and the ability to translate financial data into actionable commercial insights. As a qualified CA/CPA, you have advanced financial modelling skills and experience with M&A analysis, valuation, and due diligence. A solid background in or comprehension of SaaS or subscription-based businesses is highly beneficial. You are comfortable interacting with executive and Board stakeholders, adopt a practical and hands-on approach, and have experience mentoring or developing team members within a lean finance function.
