AXR Recruitment & Search is seeking a Commercial Finance Manager for a full-time, onsite position in Sydney NSW. The salary range is $150,000 - $160,000 plus Super and Bonus.

The Role This is a commercially focused finance position suitable for an individual who excels in an SME environment and enjoys developing financial models and insights from inception. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership and the CFO, offering commercial clarity and forward-looking analysis to foster innovation and growth.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Building, maintaining, and enhancing 3-way forecasting models across multiple revenue streams.
• Developing and maintaining pricing models to inform commercial decision-making.
• Delivering clear, commercial insights to support business and investment decisions.
• Providing scenario and sensitivity analysis to aid strategic decision-making.
• Partnering with operational leaders to offer meaningful commercial insights and facilitate cross-functional workflows.
• Improving profitability analysis through enhanced structuring of financial data.
• Driving continuous improvement of financial systems, processes, and reporting.

Requirements

• CA/CPA qualified, or equivalent commercial finance experience.
• Experience in a commercial finance, FP&A, or senior finance role, ideally within an SME or growth environment.
• Experience with Xero is a distinct advantage.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving organisation.
• Hands-on, proactive, and solutions-oriented.
• Confident communicator able to partner effectively with senior stakeholders.
