This is an initial 8-month fixed-term contract position requiring an immediate start.

The Opportunity An ASX listed global industry leader is seeking a Commercial Manager to serve as the key strategic business partner to the Sales & Supply Chain functions. This is a critical senior commercial leadership opportunity focused on ensuring the company's financial success and strategic growth.

The Challenge Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the primary focus of this role is to enable, drive, and identify opportunities for revenue growth, profit enhancement, and cost optimisation.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Acting as a critical member of the finance Senior Leadership Team, providing commercial support to the General Manager Sales, CFO, Supply Chain Manager, CEO, and the broader executive leadership team.
• Serving as the key partner to the GM Sales, shaping strategic and operational decisions through clear insights, thoughtful challenge, and actionable recommendations.
• Developing financial plans, analysing performance, and implementing commercial strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Evaluating market trends and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decision-making.
• Driving rigorous commercial evaluation of capital investment proposals, including business case development, ROI analysis, and post-investment performance review.
• Being intimately involved in the Sales & Operations Planning process, including driving significant improvements and building and owning the S&OP financial model.
• Managing risk and driving performance improvement.

The Expertise Consider expressing interest if you possess the following:

• CA/CPA/MBA qualification with significant experience in a medium to large complex business partnering sales/commercial functions.
• Previous experience partnering supply chain functions will be looked upon favourably.
• Superior commercial orientation with demonstrated experience partnering operational executives.
• Transformational zeal and a flair for process improvement; this organisation is experiencing an accelerated growth trajectory whilst undergoing change and transformation.
• You are a hands-on commercial leader with the ability to be 'in the detail'.
• Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build rapport with all levels of stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills, the ability to meet tight deadlines, and the capacity to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
