Hays | Accountancy & Finance is seeking a technically proficient Finance Manager for a large, well-established organisation located in Laverton North. This full-time, onsite position offers a salary of up to $135k plus super.

This is a hands-on leadership role for an individual who thrives on owning financial data, enhancing controls, and operating within a complex, multi-entity structure. The role is designed to support a busy reporting and compliance function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead month-end reporting processes, including group consolidation and variance analysis.
• Maintain robust balance sheet control, encompassing the review and approval of reconciliations.
• Oversee statutory reporting and tax compliance obligations, such as FBT, income tax, and regulatory returns.
• Manage and develop a small finance team.
• Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors and tax advisors.
• Drive process improvements within reporting, controls, and governance frameworks.

Requirements:

• CA/CPA qualification with a solid foundation in financial accounting.
• Demonstrated experience in a corporate or multi-entity setting.
• Proficiency in technical reporting, compliance, and reconciliation.
• Confident stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Prior team leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
