We are seeking a Senior Analyst and Supervisor to join our expanding team in Melbourne. The ideal candidate will possess a positive, innovative outlook, strong commercial and interpersonal abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service. You will collaborate directly with leaders, contributing to an outstanding client experience and advancing your career.

Your Responsibilities:

As a key member of the Corporate Restructuring and Insolvency team, you will coordinate and manage a range of engagements. Your daily activities will include:

• Assisting in the coordination and execution of formal insolvency processes, including Court Liquidations, Creditors Voluntary Liquidations, Members Voluntary Liquidations, Receiverships, Small Business Restructures, and Voluntary Administrations.
• Supporting Independent Business Reviews and Pre-Lending reviews for financial institutions.
• Engaging with key stakeholders such as management, employees, creditors, and investors.
• Preparing reports for lenders and creditors.
• Reviewing all working papers to ensure accuracy and proper file maintenance.
• Implementing day-to-day operational strategies and adhering to key risk management processes.
• Supervising junior staff in task execution.
• Providing enthusiastic support and coaching to junior staff.
• Conducting and overseeing financial and commercial analysis to inform client decisions and recommendations.
• Participating in business development activities, including building and maintaining robust relationships with clients and referrers within the HoganSprowles network.

What You Will Bring:

• Tertiary qualifications in an Accounting or Finance-related field.
• CA or CPA qualifications.
• Currently undertaking, or aspiring to undertake, the ARITA Advanced Insolvency qualification.
• 2-3 years of prior experience in insolvency and business restructuring is necessary, coupled with a capacity for problem-solving, financial analysis, investigative skills, and strong verbal and written communication.
• A high level of attention to detail.
• A strong desire to achieve value for clients experiencing distress or disruption.
