Daikin Australia is seeking a permanent, full-time Credit Controller to join its Credit team in Chipping Norton, NSW. Reporting to the National Credit Manager, this role will support the team in monitoring and maintaining debtors' ledgers and managing credit compliance according to company policy and procedures. An immediate start is available, with opportunities for ongoing development and on-the-job training.

About the Role

This position may involve the following daily tasks and responsibilities:

• Management, collection, and allocation of credit accounts, cash accounts, staff accounts, and service accounts assigned to state and internal ledgers.
• Managing the Aged Trial Balance Ledger, ensuring regular updates to notes and timely stakeholder engagement and communication with Sales and Customer Service.
• Releasing orders from credit hold.
• Compiling monthly reports for accounts with outstanding payments.
• Communicating with customers regarding overdue accounts.
• Addressing customer inquiries related to their accounts.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Previous experience in a credit control or similar environment.
• Strong exposure to SAP and Microsoft is ideal but not essential.
• Previous experience with trade creditor insurance would be advantageous.
• Well-developed communication, negotiating, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in a high-volume environment and the ability to work under pressure.
• The ability to work effectively in a people-centered environment.
