About the Role

As a Credit Controller at WSG, you will be instrumental in processing customer payments accurately and promptly, performing account reconciliations, and collaborating with customers to secure payments and reduce outstanding days. This position is based at our Braeside headquarters, offering a hybrid working arrangement with 2 days Work From Home after initial training.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily receipting and banking activities, ensuring accurate recording, reconciliation, and timely deposit of customer payments.
• Proactively monitor debtor ageing and follow up on overdue invoices via email and phone.
• Prepare and dispatch client statements and reminder letters.
• Maintain precise records of client communications and transactions.
• Respond to and resolve account-related inquiries in conjunction with internal stakeholders.
• Provide ad-hoc administrative, accounts, and operational support as needed.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in cross-training opportunities.

Experience and Skills:

• More than 2 years of previous experience in Accounts Receivable or Credit Control roles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Problem-solving mind-set.
• Microsoft Office computer literacy.
• Familiarity with Esker, MYOB, or Wastedge is an advantage.
