We are seeking a Design Lead to join our Civil Engineering team in Geelong. This role offers an opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys technical design, leading and managing all facets of design within projects. You will engage with diverse, integrated projects within the land subdivision market.

Responsibilities:

• Drive project performance and service delivery through positive technical outcomes for clients.
• Proactively identify and resolve technical design issues in collaboration with clients and the wider design team, managing design interfaces.
• Lead a design team to successfully deliver projects, meeting client and authority requirements.
• Collaborate with interstate teams, multidisciplinary consultants, and engineering professionals across the business on projects.

About You:

You are a qualified and experienced Senior Civil Engineer with a background in complex masterplanned communities and subdivision projects, possessing exceptional skills in managing design challenges.

Requirements:

• Registered Engineer in Victoria, with the capacity to approve and sign off design plans.
• High proficiency with AutoCAD and 12D.
• Deep knowledge of, and well-established networks within, the Victorian land subdivision market.
• Experience, or an interest in, operating within a multidisciplinary consultancy.
• A proactive attitude and a desire to undertake new challenges.
• The ability to work autonomously, managing priorities across multiple projects.
• Demonstrated leadership ability, with strong skills in influencing, motivating, and delegating.
