Aspect Engineering is looking for an experienced Design Project Manager to steer multidisciplinary engineering design initiatives within the resource and building sectors. This position is well-suited for individuals who excel in a dynamic consultancy setting, appreciate collaboration with skilled engineers, and possess a demonstrated ability to execute projects with accuracy and assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the complete lifecycle of design projects, from initiation through to finalisation.
• Control project scope, schedule, budget, risk, and change management processes.
• Orchestrate interdisciplinary engineering and drafting tasks and their resultant deliverables.
• Cultivate client relationships and provide project updates and stakeholder communications.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance are maintained throughout project execution.
• Manage variations, claims, and commercial results in accordance with contractual obligations.
• Facilitate handover and close-out activities, including documentation and the capture of lessons learned.

Skills & Experience (Essential):

• Demonstrated Project Management experience within design consultancies serving the resource industry.
• A robust comprehension of design project delivery workflows.
• Solid commercial acumen, encompassing contracts, variations, and cost management.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities, with proficiency in stakeholder management.
• Strong capacity for documentation and reporting.
• Entitlement to work in Australia.

Desirable:

• An engineering qualification accompanied by interdisciplinary design experience.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience managing Engineering Design projects.
