Digital Engineer

DT Infrastructure is seeking a full-time Digital Engineer to join our team in Perth, WA. This hybrid role offers an attractive salary plus industry-leading benefits.

About the Role

We are looking for a Digital Engineer to support the delivery of major infrastructure projects by advancing digital engineering outcomes across design and construction phases. You will work closely with the Digital Engineering Manager and project teams to ensure BIM, CAD, GIS, and asset data are integrated, compliant, and aligned with client requirements and industry standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically proficient and collaborative professional to contribute to high-profile projects and enhance digital engineering capability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of Digital Engineering outputs in accordance with ISO 19650 and project requirements.
  • Assist with modelling, model coordination, and clash detection throughout project phases.
  • Coordinate federated models across disciplines, ensuring alignment with design and construction objectives.
  • Maintain model management strategies, data workflows, and Common Data Environment (CDE) structures.
  • Facilitate and contribute to design coordination and VDC sessions.
  • Provide technical support and guidance on BIM tools, including Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
  • Assist in monitoring Digital Engineering deliverables and ensuring compliance with client and government standards.
  • Generate progress reports and model tracking outputs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders from design, project management, and construction teams.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a Digital Engineering, BIM, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of BIM principles and standards, including ISO 19650.
  • Advanced experience with Navisworks and at least one BIM authoring tool (e.g., Revit).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Experience using Civil3D or 12D is desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience within construction, infrastructure, or engineering project environments.
