MW Recruitment is seeking an experienced Director or Senior Manager for a highly successful and long-standing accounting firm located on Brisbane's southside. This is a rare salaried partner/director position. You will be supported by the current directors and senior leadership.

This role extends beyond standard accounting duties. The firm provides high-level support to its clients, offering specialised CFO Advisory Services rather than solely focusing on compliance.

The Role:

• Lead a dedicated accounting team, comprising intermediates, managers, and administrative staff.
• Manage an end-to-end tax offering, encompassing bookkeeping, tax compliance, and specialist advisory services.
• Work with a broad client base across most industry sectors, including large businesses.
• Business development skills can be taught, as this role involves an existing large portfolio of fees.
• Serve as the first point of contact for potential new and existing clients.
• Scope and price work.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience working in accounting.
• Proven experience managing staff and their workflow while meeting deadlines on time.
• Strong knowledge of technology and software.
• A personable and professional demeanour with the ability to think outside the box.
• Ability to think commercially and assist clients in growing their businesses.
• Excellent attention to detail and good organisational/prioritisation skills.
