Our work involves supporting individuals in various settings, including community locations, their own homes, and the broader community, with the aim of fostering environments where individuals with shared interests can connect, build friendships, and flourish.

A Day in the Role:

• Connecting individuals through shared interests and hobbies to build lasting friendships.
• Facilitating engaging activities such as art sessions, sports, or group outings.
• Assisting individuals in exploring their communities and participating in events aligned with their interests.
• Cultivating an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels valued and connected.
• Recognising milestones, offering encouragement, and supporting individuals in achieving their goals.
• Collaborating with team members to develop vibrant, interest-focused programs.

What You Bring:

• Potential prior experience supporting people with disabilities.
• Flexible availability across 7 days, between 6 am and 8 pm.
• Eagerness to learn and a willingness to provide compassionate personal care.
• A natural ability to build relationships and foster inclusion.
• A belief that everyone deserves access to a full and joyful life.
• Willingness to obtain a First Aid/CPR Certificate, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and Working with Children Check.
• A valid driver’s license and an insured car for supporting individuals in community activities.
