About the Role

We are looking for experienced male Disability Support Workers to assist participants with complex behaviour support needs within their homes and the community. You will be instrumental in implementing individualised behaviour support plans to ensure participants remain safe, engaged, and are supported to achieve their goals. This is a casual position with shifts that may include mornings, evenings, weekends, sleepovers, and active overnights.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred support aligned with participant NDIS and behaviour support plans.
• Implement positive behaviour support strategies and de-escalation techniques.
• Provide personal care and daily living support as needed.
• Assist with community access, appointments, and activities.
• Maintain precise documentation and reporting.
• Adhere to the NDIS Code of Conduct and Dash Care policies.

What You’ll Need

• Proven experience supporting participants with complex behaviours.
• A grasp of positive behaviour support and de-escalation principles.
• An NDIS Worker Screening Check, or a willingness to obtain one.
• A current First Aid and CPR certificate.
• Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module, or a willingness to complete it.
• A current driver’s licence and a dependable, comprehensively insured vehicle.
• The legal right to work in Australia.

Desirable

• A Certificate III in Individual Support or Certificate IV in Disability, or currently working towards these qualifications.
• Experience with high-intensity supports.
• Completion of behaviour support training.
