Draftsperson / Project Co-Ordinator

MNJ Engineering is a company that designs, manufactures, and installs all aspects of diesel and gas-powered generator installation equipment. This includes acoustic enclosures, attenuation, exhaust systems, fuel tanks and pumping systems, and PLC control systems. Our head office is located in Sydney, and we also undertake works across Australia. We are seeking a Draftsperson / Project Co-Ordinator to join our growing team, a company that values leadership, innovation, and a hands-on approach to engineering.

About the Role: This is a diverse, full-time, onsite role requiring a mixture of drafting, project management, procurement, and site management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create shop fabrication drawings.
• Create site layouts and upload them to client BIM drawings.
• Coordinate procurement, subcontractors, and internal resources.
• Oversee project delivery, ensuring timelines, quality, and budgets are met.
• Conduct site inspections and manage installation quality.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and builders to ensure satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in 3D and 2D CAD using Inventor, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar software.
• Experience with mechanical design, ductwork/piping layouts, and 3D modelling.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
