Australia Wide Engineering Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Product Compliance Engineer for a fixed-term contract role in Melbourne VIC. This hybrid position offers a salary of $95,000-105,000 plus super.

You will join a collaborative technical team, working three days per week in the Melbourne CBD office and two days from home. Comprehensive, full training will be provided on all relevant small-scale renewable energy product standards. You will collaborate within an established professional team comprising two senior engineers and six product engineers.

Who You Are

• You must hold a tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering and be registered and endorsed with Engineers Australia.
• You will require two or more years of post-graduate work experience within a related engineering discipline.
• Experience in designing or installing photovoltaic and energy storage systems is highly regarded, as are strong research skills.
• You will demonstrate strong computer literacy, including proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite and customer relationship management systems (SalesForce).
• A strong capability to translate and communicate complex terminology to audiences of varying expertise, both verbally and in writing, is essential.

What You Will Be Doing

• Reviewing and processing technical applications for the approved product program, which includes photovoltaic modules, inverters, and batteries.
• Preparing formal engineering communication materials, such as technical bulletins and regular website updates.
• Responding efficiently to technical compliance queries from end users, manufacturers, and industry importers.
• Providing continuous support in reviewing and updating compliance procedures to maintain service excellence.
