This is a permanent, hands-on product role for an Electronics Engineer in Sydney.

The Opportunity

Join a dynamic, product-centric engineering team focused on developing high-performance embedded systems for practical applications. This role places you at the crucial juncture between prototype and production, encompassing the entire hardware lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing circuits that are manufactured and shipped.
• Debugging and bringing up boards in a laboratory setting.
• Collaborating with mechanical, firmware, and manufacturing teams.
• Resolving engineering challenges with tangible results.

Your Profile

The successful candidate will possess:

• 3–5 years of experience in electronics or embedded hardware engineering.
• Significant experience in schematic design and PCB layout using Altium Designer.
• A robust understanding of analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit design.
• Experience in environments transitioning from prototype to production.

Bonus Points

Consideration will be given to candidates with:

• Experience with high-speed or communication interfaces such as Ethernet, SPI, I2C, CAN, and USB.
• Familiarity with EMC/EMI, compliance, and reliability considerations.
• Knowledge of DFM, DFA, and DFT practices.
• Exposure to manufacturing, production support, or field testing.
• Basic programming skills in languages like C/C++/Python.
• Demonstrated experience in designing for space-constrained applications.
